How BlinkDeal works – Myntra gold coin offers, ranked against the gold rate

A Myntra BlinkDeal lasts about ten minutes. This board has every gold coin on Myntra already priced against today's gold rate, so when the coupon goes live you can see at a glance which coins cost less than the metal in them – and which don't.

How it works

  1. Every coin, live from Myntra. Kalyan Jewellers, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, Mia by Tanishq, Bhima, P N Gadgil, C Krishniah Chetty, Muthoot Pappachan, PMJ Jewels, Bangalore Refinery – 1 g to 10 g, 22K and 24K, with Myntra's own stock counts.
  2. Today's gold rate, from Karat Board. The daily 24K and 22K rates of twelve Indian jewellers. Kalyan is the default reference; pick any other, or add a resale haircut.
  3. Price after coupon vs. gold in the coin. For each coin: what you pay, what the gold is worth, the discount it would need to break even, and the difference. Coins that clear at the live BlinkDeal percentage are marked. Nothing is hidden – every row stays.
  4. Opens itself. The board reads Myntra's coupon data, wakes when a BLINKDEAL code appears, refreshes prices every two minutes, and rests when the coupon is gone.

What is a Myntra BlinkDeal?
A short flash coupon Myntra runs on its gold coin listings – usually about ten minutes – with codes such as BLINKDEAL6 or BLINKDEAL8 that take a fixed percentage off the listed price. Myntra allows one coupon per order, and during a BlinkDeal that coupon is the deal itself.
How does BlinkDeal rank the gold coins?
Each coin's price after the coupon is compared with the value of the gold in it, from its weight and purity at the reference rate you choose. You see what you pay, what the gold is worth, the discount the coin would need to break even, and the difference. Every coin stays on the list; nothing is hidden.

Because no BlinkDeal is running on Myntra right now. The board reads Myntra's own coupon data, opens itself when a BLINKDEAL code appears, refreshes every two minutes while it lasts, and rests when the coupon is gone. Open the board when a deal starts and the ranking is already waiting.
